1985

Anna Stocker and Josef Mairhofer found the company Stocker in Lana. High quality shears for professional use in orchards and vineyards are the bestsellers. The products are sold in the regions Trentino-Alto Adige, Friuli-Venezia Giulia and Emilia Romagna.

1990 – 2000

The product range is expanded. Binding materials for orchards and vineyards, covering materials for horticulture and small gardening tools are added. The sales network is expanded to cover the whole of Italy and is soon run by their own sales agents. The target customers are professional users of tools for orchards and vineyards, and now also for citrus cultivation. During those years, Stocker also expands to Austria and Southern-Germany. The company keeps growing and becoming more structured: new headquarters are built in Lana.

2000 - 2005

The production and sale of innovative cutting tools for professional use are growing. A new trend is forming: hobby gardening. The company interprets the need of this new segment by developing a new line of products for hobby-farmers, thereby expanding the range of products offered. The company also strengthens its international position: in Austria by establishing their own sales agents, in Southern-Germany and in a new market, Slovenia.

2005 - 2010

The hobby gardening segment is becoming increasingly important and brings a significant growth for the company. Thanks to the extended range of products, Stocker can enter new international markets, such as Spain, where soon enough an own sales network will be established, Greece, Portugal, France and several markets in Eastern-Europe, such as Serbia and Croatia.

2010 - 2015

Stocker inaugurates new headquarters in Lana: the warehouse boasts more than 9.000 shelf-positions, the modern management of the logistics guarantees shorter times for the preparations of orders, which goes at complete advantage of customers who can now receive their wares and spare parts much quicker. In 2013, the sons Matthias and Jackob Mairhofer, the second generation of the family, take on the managing positions of the company. The international expansion continues: The Stocker brand is now available in almost all countries of Eastern-Europe.

2015 - 2020

In 2015, Stocker celebrates 30 years of activity with a great party where collaborators, customers, suppliers and partners are invited from all-over the world. From 2018 it is Matthias who continues to lead the business. The attention for the needs of the main target, the hobby-farmer, drives the company and its young and motivated team towards significant investments in innovation: Stocker introduces onto the market some of the most innovative electric sprayers and long-handled pruning tools, thereby assuming a strategic role in key markets but also expanding to new ones, such as Switzerland, Israel, South Africa and Mexico. Meanwhile, also the communication strategy matures, based on the power of sharing in order to support the target-group with useful tips and resources provided directly from experts, that also allows the conservation of valuable knowledge.
